Trailer: Crazy little thing called love

Crazy little thing called love is a 2010 Thai movie which revolves around the story of the ugly duckling.

Nam, an ugly M1 student develops a crush on Chon, a very handsome football player from M4. Determined to win his heart, Nam and her 3 other “ugly” friends decide to follow the “9 something-something methods”. Then, Nam’s uncle arrives from the states bearing a message from Nam and her sister’s father stating: “whoever becomes top 1 first will get a plane ticket to America from their dad” and since they haven’t seen their father for 5 years, Nam studies hard to be able to get the prize.

The story is about Nam’s life in M1 to M4 and how she developed and became a beautiful girl.
On M2, she was cast as Snow White in a school play. This is where Top arrives.
On around M3 or M4, she was asked by her teacher to be a drum major for the school. She sucked but in the end she was able to do it.

Top is Chon’s best friend. Top’s feelings develop for Nam and after a year later, musters up the courage to ask her to be his girlfriend. Nam doesn’t answer because in her heart she loves Chon. After Top’s question, she started hanging out with Top’s (and of course, Chon’s) friends until she drifted away from her real friends. Then some instances happen where Nam and Chon were left alone together, but then their moment is interrupted by Top. Fast forwarding to another scene, Top kissed Nam on the cheek which surprised her. And after that day, she told him to...somehow...back-off, since she hasn’t even answered him.

Then, during Valentine’s Day in her M3/M4 year, she then decided to tell Chon her feelings. Nam and her friends followed Chon to the gym, Nam went inside and her friends guarded the door. She then gives him a white rose and pours out her feelings to Chon, feeling happy that she was able to tell him about it, until she found out that he and another senior, Pin, were already together a week before. Crushed and heartbroken, Nam tries to hold back her tears, and hopes them the best. While leaving, she falls into the shallow part pool. Chon gives his hand to help her but she ignores him. When she got outside, she left her friends and bumped into Pin. Nam hugged pin and then she left. The next day, Nam’s friends told her the news that she got Top 1 and because of that, she’s moving to America.

That time after Nam confessed, when Chon got home, his father, who was an ex-football player, told him that he was going to play for the Bangkok team. He was happy and went to his room to try on the jersey. While inside, he goes to his desk and pulls out a scrapbook, filled with pictures of Nam. From when she was still ugly and dark-skinned, until now that she was beautiful. Since he’ll be playing for the Bangkok team, he has to live in Bangkok (they currently live in a province). He goes to Nam’s house and leaves the scrapbook in front of her doorstep.

9 years later, Chon becomes a pro-photographer and Nam becomes a world famous fashion designer. Nam was invited on an interview on TV, and then to her surprise, there she sees Chon again. The host asks Chon if he has something to say to Nam. Then she gives Nam a chance to ask Chon something. She asks if he’s married already. He answers with “I have” which might have hurt Nam, but then he said, “been waiting for someone in America to come home” or something like that. And it end there.

This is just a sort-of summary. I shall return with my thoughts. :) WAH! THIS IS SO LONG! >.<

Call me mean, but yeah. THE SENIORS ’11 GOT 3RD PLACE IN THE CHEERING. TEEHEE.

The Juniors were the Champs and the Sophies were the 1st runner-up while the Seniors were the 2nd runner-up and the Freshies were 3rd runner-up.

We totally can’t believe it. O.o
And well, we, the (Sen’10rs) who supports the juniors, were happy for them while I think others were having mixed emotions for the seniors, either happy or sad for them.

!what I’m about to say may be mean but, it is MY OPINION, so please respect it. Thank you!
Sure they deleted their mean posts and printed our mean posts, and maybe it was true that they had something to do with the judging last year so maybe this is karma striking back at them and making them lose more than what we lost. And maybe that’s why the cheering competition was moved from Friday(it’s like...traditional) to Saturday because God wants us to see their downfall with the help of karma.

Trig exam was alright, though many WILL fail because they didn’t read the instructions. But what can I say? It was VERY confusing.

Encircle the letter of the right answer and put NA on the blank if the choices are not applicable....something like that... so the people who didn’t read the instructions wrote the answer on the blank. Good luck to everyone. :D

And SA...? Well, most of us didn’t study. I hope the results will be alright.

Then we played Rockband for 2 hours. Of course it was fun. \m/ then we went our separate ways. When Marianne and I arrived home, we saw Carl and Renzo who just got out of the elevator. They were going to UP so we decided to come.

I spent a day just to finish my psych reviewer. That sort of sucks, I mean, I think I went too overboard. 6 pages = summary?! WHAAAT?! Argh. I will definitely study Trig tomorrow! :(

I’m currently having a TVXQ marathon tonight. #nowkpopping the whole TVXQ the 3rd Asia Tour Concert Mirotic in Seoul album. Then afterwards I might play keep your head down then Best Selection 2010. I don’t know why, maybe because I miss TVXQ as 5? :(

Oh! And there’s this “rumor” that Jonghyun and Shin SeKyung’s relationship isn’t true. It’s just something to cover up a BIGGER scandal made by SNSD’s Jessica and 2PM Leader whose name still appears unknown (Definitely not Jaebumie). Some are speculating because there is no 2PM leader now except for acting-leader Ok, in my opinion. And the reason they used Jjongie because they care more about SNSD than SHINee. Well, if that’s true, then SCREW YOU SME. >:(

BLEH. Anywho, it’s 1:03am and I think I still need to sleep to be able to study trig tomorrow. :) OH YEAH! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM YOUNGWOON AKA KANGIN OPPA~!<3

I’m supposed to be studying for our preliminaries this Tuesday, but I’m too lazy to do it (and I’m currently watching shutter right now). I mean. I made a schedule, but I wasn’t able to follow it because I woke up late (around 12:30 in the afternoon). I skipped English(which is supposed to be from 1pm-2pm) and Filipino(from 3pm-4pm). But I’m definitely going to study Psych(from 5pm-6pm).

Okay, of to study Psych. Good luck to me~!

Yesterday was quiz day. My schedule for yesterday was Trigo, SA, and English and we had a quiz on all of those subjects. Well, math was okay, right triangles were sort of easy, except for the last question. SA...well, I didn’t really read because the night before the quiz, some were still questioning if it was yesterday or next week. As for English, I read is but I got things mixed up, like skimming and scanning, and intrinsic and extrinsic. Oh well. :|

I just realized that my life sort of revolves around guys, I don’t know why. But at least I’m just looking and not touching! No touchy, no likey. Anyway, I’m starting to like this guy (let’s just name him TJ). He’s a sophomore, and was the escort for Bio in our Palarong Agham (Science Sports fest, since we’re from the college of science). Every Tuesday and Friday afternoon, after psych, we leave the room, and their section uses it, so that’s when I see him. Nothing much going on, I just wanted to take this thought out from my head. :D

I want to sleep...but at the same time I don’t want to.

Hello 2011!
Wow. It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. I never really had the time since college started. Bio is haaard!>.<

Anyway, I’ll be saying some basic info about my college life. My section is 1 Biology-3, I am from the College of Science(CoS) and I made friends :> and I failed Bio101 in our 1st semester. HAHAHA! I’m taking up Bio101 again, and then I’ll be taking Bio102 this summer. I guess I’m the most regular-looking irregular student I’ve ever known. :>

About crushes, I started liking some people. A 4th year bio student-slash-bio student council member (he’s a secretary), a 2nd year commerce student-slash-varsity player (basketball), a 4th year commerce student-slash-university student council member (he’s a PRO) and a 3rd year marketing student-slash-varsity player (basketball as well). Wow, full of slashes. Because of these people, they make me feel that we’re really getting older. :| Anyway, I don’t like them anymore. I now like this 1st year Sports Science person who just popped out of nowhere (well, not really from nowhere. I’ll tell details in future posts, I hope.) and this 1st year Applied Physics dude (who’s also from CoS) which I saw since enrollment. I know, weird that I still remember him, huh?

So far, college is hard, but fun. When you accomplish something, it’s very fulfilling. :D

I have finally found something worthy to write about (for me, that is). What I wrote here should not be taken seriously, because as what I have said, this is my OPINION, and everyone has the right to give their own opinion about stuff. And, applying what SoakedShoes@2OneDay Forums said, "I don't tell people to believe, I tell people to read. We're all mature enough to take sides."

Being one, out of millions of fans around the world, who relies on the internet to know stuff about their Idols, you can’t really define what’s true or what’s just made up. For us to know the truth, you really have to take a closer look, “Are they really different on-screen and off?”. When I read those SaSaeng accounts, I wasn’t sure whether to believe or not, though it has somehow changed my view of the boys, since those kinds of fans spend a hell lot of time stalking (I’m sorry, but I just had to use that term. No hard feelings?).

When I found out that Taec and Chan (2nd and 3rd/current biases, respectively. Khun was my 1st) had the worst attitude off-cam (well, not really the worst, but still, can it get any worse than that?) I felt that I was somehow betrayed, since I fell for their on-cam attitudes, which were probably the totally opposites of their REAL personalities, if you refer to the fan accounts (except for Khun though, he seems to have the cleanest record so far if you compare it to the other members). This made me think. What are their real personalities like? Will I still like them if their “bad attitudes” were real? Am I going to believe everything that I see?

My journey with 2PM

To be honest, I fell for 2PM because of their looks. It started with Khun and his wink on ISF. I was a starting fan when the news about Jay’s controversy started. And, I can’t believe it either but, I cried when I heard that Jay had left (It was a bit hard to cry because I was at school when I heard the news, two of my friends told me about it). And when I think about it, I would probably say that the sudden boost of 2PM’s popularity was because of Jay’s incident, since I myself admit that I became a fan because of Jay’s departure. I was devastated and really wanted Jay to come back, and at the same time, still supported 2PM with 6 members (I made my dad buy their 1st album, 1:59, from Korea, since he was in Seoul when the album came out). Reading the accounts about the members bullying Jay was really...something. I think, him, leaving was the greatest decision he ever made, if those accounts were true. He was probably getting tired of waiting and thought that this might be the best time to finally be free.

Anyway, I think I have said enough, for now. I shall rant again when I get in the mood. To be honest, again, this account made me confused on what I should feel. Is this trying to open my eyes to see the truth? Or is this just something that ruins other people’s lives?

I re-read “My Imaginary Ex” last night, which was the reason why I slept at 4am. I don’t really know why though, I finished reading at quarter to three but then I don’t remember what I did until 4am. >.< anyway, I re-read that book because I was thinking if that kind of story would happen to me as well, finding your true love during college and not knowing about it until the other one is about to get married (not that I'm fed up on my fan girl fantasies, NO WAY, I am definitely still into my K-Pop loves). Yes, I admit I am a hopeless romantic, I’ve never been kissed and nbsb, truefax. I’m what you call, innocent, if you know what I mean.

I watched Iron Man 2 with my siblings, grandmother and helper. Yeah, no mom and dad, both were busy, and well, they’re separated, so you really won’t be seeing them together. But the trip was the reason why our mom got mad at us. We forgot to ask permission from her (since we were under her custody). I was about to cry in the middle of the movie, because she shouted at me. To make myself feel better, I bought the Tohoshinki Best selection 2010 2CD+DVD which was PhP700. I was happy that the DVD was packed with their performances, meaning I won’t be needing subtitles. *YAY* But honestly, what would make me feel so much better would be Starbucks, and Chansung. T_T

I heard that Chansung lost his passport and got stuck in LA because of that. Sadly Luckily, He was able to find it and he got back safely. I wish he was stuck here in the Philippines instead. I’d take care of him and stuff him with dried mangoes, and bananas, both fresh and dried. I think I’ve finally changed my bias (again) from Khun, to Taec, To Chan, probably because of the dream I had. All that’s left is Woo, the Jun bros, and probably Jay Park. After that, I have done what I have done to other goups, like SuJu (I forgot the sequence since they’re so many, but I do remember Kibum being my first), and DBSK (Jaejoong, Yunho, Junsu, Changmin, Yoochun).
